The Challenge
While our focus is generally in high-level problem solving and planning, we also understand there is a demand for straightforward web development services. Freelance boards and traditional hourly billing methods can lead to uncertainty and unpredictability for clients.
That’s why we’ve adopted a flat fee model that ensures clarity, simplicity, and efficiency in every project we undertake.
The usual way…
When an agency needs development work done, there are several steps. For example, let’s say an agency has a client with different lead forms on their site. They all go to the same bucket in the same CRM.
But now they need a certain type of lead to be re-routed to another CRM run by a partner. What do they need to do?
- Define the problem as best they can
- Decide the qualifications for what they need
- Post the task to a job board or three
- Wait for the responses
- Review the responses and qualifications
- Answer clarifying questions
- Extend an offer or accept the freelancer’s price
- Communicate for the first time with an individual in charge of their project
- Wait for delivery
- Hope it works the way it’s supposed to, pay, leave a review
- Repeat next time there’s a task
Imagine that process every time a task needs to be done. Sometimes they’ll get a regular freelancer to use each time. But the freelancer still needs to make time for them. Even more often, freelancers on job boards and networks will get better over time and become harder to reach and more costly.
…Our Way
Client fills out a project form or forwards an email to their custom projects email.
- We may ask clarifying questions
- Most tasks are finished within 72 hours
- Average cost of the task is significantly less than if hired out separately
Weeks of time can be saved just by knowing exactly where to send the requests.
How it Works
Step 1: The Backlog
Our process begins with the client inputting their project requirements into a project form. Each request is added to the Backlog for review, clarification, and agreement.
Step 2: Doing
We believe in giving each project the dedicated attention it deserves. That’s why we commit to working on one request at a time. By focusing on one task, we can maintain quality, avoid distractions, and deliver results efficiently.
Step 3: Review to Done
Once a task is added to the Backlog, we aim to deliver within a minimum of 72 hours. This turnaround time ensures that we have sufficient opportunity to review, plan, and execute each request effectively. However, for more complex tasks, we may extend the delivery timeframe to ensure thoroughness and quality during the review and clarification process.

How much does lost time cost?
That’s a trick question. Time is not a renewable resource.
Sure, it translates to salary paid to those in charge of making the decisions. There’s opportunities that pass by, their calls unanswered, either because of a feature not implemented or because of being otherwise occupied trying to make things happen.
But in the end, time is something that needs to be tamed. It’s the reason we only take on three clients like this. Any more and quality would suffer. One could say we know very well the value of time and thus the value of this offer.
Some examples include:
- Custom Scripts
- Form and Funnel Design
- API Integration
- CRM Integration and Routing
- Analytics Events
- Plugin Development and Customization
- Styling and Motion Graphics
- Heatmap Tracking, A/B Testing
